zaterdag 30 oktober 2010 Up at 6:30. Turn on KEXP in the middle of Mind Over Matters. Alternative Radio presents Climate Wars by Gwynne Dyer. The situation sounds quite serious and, indeed, dyer. Then a representative from the National Lawyers Guild talks about First Amendment Rights. Yes! Freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to peaceably assemble are cool! Let it be! Then Jason McLennan talks about the Living Building Challenge... pulling together the most progressive thinking from the worlds of architecture, engineering, planning, landscape design and policy. To make a world a better place. Cous cous and hard boiled egg for breakfast. Turn on The Rally To Restore Sanity and/or Fear. I LOVE IT!
It looks really nice in D. C.
The same rally in Seattle is rather wet. Yes. It's raining in Seattle. Yet, I am surprised how many people showed up. It's quite a few people... not that you can see them in my photo.

A number 10 bus conveniently whisks me up to Capitol Hill. I am rather fascinated by a woman next to me, doing a cross-word puzzle while riding the bus. A ride on the #10 is always interesting.

Watch Star Trek - The Menagerie. The weather looks nice on starbase 11.
Meanwhile, on Talos IV, Vina says that she must remain on the planet. Then the Talosians reveal Vina's true appearance. After Vina and the Keeper explain, Pike agrees to leave her there and the Talosians restore her illusion of beauty.
