woensdag 2 februari 2011

woensdag 2 februari 2011 Up at 1:47. Report - Worst Winter Storm In Decades Pound Central US. Fall back to sleep again. Alarm goes off. Doy! Tuna fish salad sandwich for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Steph interviews Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D-PA) about the GOP’s efforts to take away health care reform.

Up to Kaladi for coffee. I overhear Luka's conversation with another costumer saying "I grew up in the Portland of the South." "What's the Portland of the South?" I ask. "Asheville, NC." Back to my place for Hump Days With Hal. Hal and Steph talk about the Monster Winter Storm with their Chicago accents. Hal shows us his recent photo shoot with Suicide Girls.

Speaking of weather, Cyclone Yasi really concerns me. Someone superimposed an radar image of this storm on the US. Report - How Cyclone Yasi Compares In Size In Countries. Wow!

Switch to the Today Show. There's Al Roker in Chicago. Lake Shore is closed. I hear an interesting comment. "I think the polar ice caps are deforming... over the US." Today, we plan to enjoy a rather pleasant day in Seattle - blue skies, sunshine, with a high of 49° yay! Walk up Westlake to work. I'm chasing up and down and Inside and Outside for breaks for Justine, Kechelle, Darnell and Patty - Rainforest, Sunshine, M & S and Seahorses. 11 - Charmaine's lunch. Kenn is covering for Patty's meetings. We take the 7 Seahorses out to the playground. There's a minor rebellion to leave the classroom, but we call in Egypt's security forces. (Just kidding.) We have fun outside. Raul hangs out with us. I like his positive energy. My energy is slowing down. 12 - Pam's lunch. Over to Sea Otters for the end of lunchtime and the beginning of nap time. They all easily go to sleep. 1 - Anne's lunch. There's still lots of coughing at nap time. That wakes up a couple kids early. 2 - Patty's lunch. The Seahorses are asleep. But Alex wakes up early. I read The Cat In The Hat when more kids wake up. Streetcar to d'town. Drop off stuff at my place. Take a little walk around d'town to enjoy the sunshine... just to 3rd & Spring and back up Pike. Listen to podcast of Weekday. My mind is spinning from the talk of Black Holes, String Theory, Sparticles, Super Symetry, the Multiverse, the Big Bang, the Big Crunch, Gravity, Dark Matter, Dark Energy and the Brane Multiverse. Ans... conformally invariant supersymmetric quantum gauge field theory.

Stever Scher chats with Brian Greene about The Hidden Reality.

Watch Nightly News and KOMO News. Violence in Egypt. And A Lot Of Crazy Snow! Whew! Break! I need to turn Swiss. I need to get neutral. (I am Swiss by heritage, you know.) Watch Star Trek The Next Generation - The Neutral Zone.
