zondag 4 september 2011 Up at 4:43. Turn on France 24. How lucky for me. Eve Jackson does the Culture Show from one of my favorite places in Paris - Shakespeare & Company. It's hard to describe this little Socialist Paradise, but she does quite well. Wow! Is that really George Whitman? Amazing... Amazing man.

Eve's friend picks up a copy of Stuff Parisians Like: Discovering the Quoi in the Je Ne Sais Quoi. Oh My... How lovely!

I read the news. Zero -- nada -- 0 -- jobs added in August. Hourly wages down. Average work weeks down. The recession returns. My wage is frozen. Imagine a child care worker... No prospects, no future... Crucified for the budget. Austerity, life-long austerity. How Did I Get Here?
