vrijdag 25 mei 2012 Up at 4:27. Turn on France 24. I remember how important the French baguette is - Looking For The Best Baguette In Paris? Head To The Montmartre Area. There’s nothing more Parisian – or satisfying – than tearing off the end of a crunchy, just-baked baguette, and eating it while walking down the street. The winner of the 2012 Grand Prix de la Baguette de Paris - Boulangerie Mauvieux 159 rue Ordener Paris.
Then they do an interview with Rahm Emanuel - mayor of Chicago. He's quite a booster for the city. A couple fried eggs with hash browns for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. John Fugelsang is on the show for all 3 hours. He cracks me up about how he takes his cats for walks in a stroller through Washington Square Park. I almost snarfed coffee through my nose.
Steph and the gang contrast Romney’s record on education vs. President Obama’s record. Mitt Romney visited a charter school in a struggling Philadelphia neighborhood on Thursday and ran into some pushback from educators and protesters who took issue with his ideas on class size and the role of families in successful school systems. Walk up Westlake to work. 10 - Tanya's planning time. I'm outside with 3 groups of babies. Lovely day. When we go inside, they fall right to sleep. 11 - Olivia lunch. Join the Starfish on their playground. They play happily. The sunshine improved their moods. 12 - Anne's lunch. The Seahorses are having a picnic. Fun!
Naps take a little longer than usual, but they all sleep eventually. 2 o'clock. Sharon is subbing for Cristin. It's her lunch break. The Starfish sleep. Some wake up and have some snack. When I leave, a couple of them say, "Bye, Mike... And have a nice weekend." Walk down Mercer. The traffic is bad. All those tailpipes. Yuck! Over to Folklife to hang out.
#8 bus up to Westlake. Walk the rest of the way to my place. Watch KOMO News. Report - Folklife Brings Four Days Of Music, Culture And Traffic To Seattle Center This Weekend. Egg salad sandwich. Watch Doctor Who - New Earth (one of my favorites). "What's that smell?" "Apple grass."
Then The Rocky Horror Glee Show. It hurts too much to do The Time Warp.
