vrijdag 3 oktober 2014

vrijdag 3 oktober 2014 Up at 1:46. Turn on BBC News. They take a call from Hong Kong live. "It's been a nasty day." Tear gas and rubber bullets. HK protesters threaten talks boycott. I just lay in bed listening to the news. Switch to KOMO News. Here's a story about a couple of douchebags -- New photos of suspects in theft of teen's death certificate. Tunafish salad sandwich for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Journalist May Lee joins the show for the last hour. Good morning May! Good morning Steph! And...  We need to have more patience with Iraq (George W. Bush). It's 50° and partly sunny for my walk to work. I'm with the Wildflowers most of the day. They enjoy a nice long time on the playground. Kenn joins us in the sandbox. Upstairs, we have a short circle time. I do mass diapers. Actually, a few of them are potty-trained. So, potty time takes only 20 minutes. It's a rather calm lunchtime. Are they tired? They fall asleep easily at nap time. Down to Sea Turtles to give Kyle a lunch break. It's mostly free play with these guys. Streetcar to d'town. Drop off my things. It's very nice weather for a walk around the neighborhood.
I'm listening to KOMO Radio during my walk. Happy Bruce Lee Day! In celebration of a new exhibit at the Wing Luke Museum, the City of Seattle has proclaimed October 3rd as Bruce Lee Day.
Swimming Rama Tofu for dinner. Intimate recollections by friends and students. In his honor... Bruce Lee, The Legend.
