Turn on Stephanie Miller. She tells us the news Hundreds Of Police Officers, Some In Riot Gear, Descended On Zuccotti Park in New York after midnight today in a surprise sweep of the Occupy Wall Street headquarters. The park was cleared in less than 3 hours. Katrina Vanden Heuvel, editor of The Nation, tells Stephanie, "You just can't evict an idea whose time has come." So very true.
Rice and black bean dip for breakfast. Shower. Walk up Westlake to work. Another easy-going day with the Starfish and Seahorses. I miss them, but the Starfish take a walk to Fairview Park. It's another beautiful day. They get some Bike Room time. All this activity should wear them out, but they get rowdy at nap time. Everyone sleeps. I leave at snack time. I march up Belmont to Capitol Hill. A lovely view of St. Mark's. That's my shadow.
Over to Rudy's for a buzz cut. Jake cuts my hair. Shop for a few things at QFC. University down to my place. There's another beautiful golden sunset. Turn on KOMO News. Occupy Seattle is moving down from SCCC to Westlake. Whew! Rush hour. Stand off at 5th and Pine!
