Police surround Occupy Oakland camp. Police moved in beginning at 4:30 a.m. and by 5 a.m. officers in riot gear had blocked streets surrounding Frank Ogawa Plaza. Fried egg and hash browns for breakfast. Shower. Sorry Steph. I am watching Oakland officials justifying their actions.
With a heavy heart, I walk up to work. It's tragic. I care for Occupy Cal. Fortunately, the day at work is mellow. I spend some extra time with the Starfish on the playground. A little drizzle makes our coats a little damp. It's a mellow day. Low numbers for the Starfish. Naps are easy. Streetcar to d'town. Drop off stuff. Walk around d'town.
