woensdag 20 februari 2013

woensdag 20 februari 2013 Up with alarm. Greek omelet with toast. Catch up with Hardball. I love The Sideshow. Ten things you don't want to hear from Abe Lincoln, and Alan Simpson is pretty irritated. "Blood, hair and eyeballs on the floor," says Alan Simpson.

Walk up to 9th and Denny and catch the #40 up to Mercer. Busy day with the 6 Sea Otters. They want me to play the "AB-CD" Which has the Humpty Dumpty song on it. They love to dance to that. We need to take our energy outside to the playground where they chase bubbles which fly away in the wind. Then the kids chase each other. "Fall on the ground!" they say with glee. We laugh so hard. We found some chalk. We drew on everything, then we clean up our chalky graffiti with towels. We settle down for lunch, but they don't seem hungry. The kids crash at nap time. Over to the Seahorses. They seem wound up. It takes time to settle them down. I ride with a couple old friends on the streetcar to d'town. "We're going to get cupcakes," they tell me. "That sounds very yummy." Walking. I pass through the convention center. The Flower & Garden Show has started. Back at my back. Turn on the news. KIRO does an investigation about Mixed Martial Arts and the fists that kill. It's too brutal. Sometimes, there are fatalities.
