donderdag 4 februari 2010

donderdag 4 februari 2010 Coughing wakes me up at 1:52. Oy! Turn on BBC News. Health report - Scan Unlocks Vegetative Patients. Dr Adrian Owen: "This changes things."

The BBC doesn't bore me back to sleep. They have some interesting things. They interview students from India about the tough new visa laws. Spaghetti with a fried egg on top for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Steph interviews Kerry Eleveld, Political Editor for The Advocate, about the Prop. 8 trials and the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell hearings. Up to Kaladi for some tea. I tell Jeremiah about my promotion to grand-unclehood. High five! Hang our in the shop for a few minutes. Back to my place to listen to more Stephanie Miller. She went to the HuffPost LA party for Mike Brzezinski And Joe Scarborough. Walk up Westlake to work. 10 to 12 - Planning time for Patty. Jessica covers for Maine. It's nice out, so we got the strollers and take the 7 Sea Otters down to the lake. We see only one duck. The Seattle Boat Show is here. We get back to Hutch Kids at 11:00. Stroll them down to the Bike Room. Good timing. 12 - Charmaine's lunch. This is a very busy hour with lunches, clean up, diapers and naps. Evanan's mom visits and he seems upset with her... with about everything. Whoa! 1 - I'm extra. I just help the Sea Otters to nap. 2 - Patty's lunch. Weirdness. Our nappers are restless. Caitlin wakes up crying. I can't do anything to get her back to sleep. Charmaine tries to get Alex back to sleep. No Way! Walk up to Whole Foods. Get some salad bar stuff and a bottle of Crow Canyon Syrah. Drop off stuff at home. It's 54° so I want to walk some more... a short one around First Hill. At home again, I listen to today's podcast of The World. Report - Gay Bollywood Movie Challenges Censors. The new Bollywood film “Don’t Know Why” is scheduled for release in May, but it’s already making waves across India. The film features the industry’s first gay male kiss. (I'm not sure about that.)

Two Men In Shoulder Stand - On a beach in South India, a male couple, Sarath and Hassan, one HIV+ and one negative, do yoga together as a means of maintaining health in the absence of medical treatments. Their yoga becomes a means of expression of their love for each other as they search for a moment of transcendence.

Watch MSNBC News. Report - Polo Unveils Opening Ceremony Outfits. Also catch up with Rachel Maddow and Hardball. Curry chicken on spaghetti for dinner. Watch Stargate SG-1: There But For The Grace Of God.
