donderdag 25 maart 2010

donderdag 25 maart 2010 Dream about the alarm going off. Of course, that's not reality, so I'm up at 4:50. Turn on AM 1090. Bill Press discusses the possible effect of health care votes on November Elections. Hal Sparks is upset with the Tea Klanners as he puts it. "They're cowards!" A lot of Representatives call in to talk about the latest news on reconciliation. Frittata for breakfast. Up to Kaladi for some of Frank's fabulous coffee. Back to my place. Shower. Streetcar to work. It's drizzly. 10 to 12 - Planning time for Pam. Kenn sets up the water table. Six Dolphins splash, Wow! Teo and Nolan are BIG splashers.

Tanja is extra to help us get the kids into dry clothes. I set up lunches while the kids play in the Bike Room. 12 - Pam's lunch. I have diaper duty while Kenn cleans up the lunch mess. He also manages to get them to sleep by 12:45. 1 - Kenn's lunch. Six Dolphins sleep. 2 - Patty's lunch. Caitlin doesn't want to sleep. She fights Charmaine and me. This is not a restful nap time. Walk up to Whole Foods to get some Asian Noodle Salad, chicken and Syrah. Drop off stuff at home. Play podcast of The World. Munch on a little lunch. Back out into the drizzle. Down to the streetcar station. Wow! Fifth Avenue is blocked with traffic. The streetcar takes 28 minutes to get to the Hutch. All staff meeting with 1.5 STARS credit about values. It's an interesting meeting. Mike Sheehan drives me home in his little gray truck. Watch some MSNBC News. Rachel Maddow. Watch Outer Limits - Nightmare.

It's a very intense episode. -- A group of space troopers are psychologically tortured in an alien prisoner-of-war camp. -- Opening Narration: A war between worlds has long been dreaded. Throughout recent history, Man, convinced that life on other planets would be as anxious and belligerent as life on his own, has gravely predicted that some dreadful form of combat would inevitably take place between our world and that of someone else. And Man was right. To the eternal credit of the peoples of this planet Earth, history shall be able to proclaim loudly and justly that in this war between Unified Earth and the planet Ebon, Ebon struck first. Ebon: Its form of life unknown, its way of life unpredictable. To the fighting troops of Earth, a black question mark at the end of a dark, foreboding journey.
