zondag 1 augustus 2010 Up at 6:40. Turn on France 24. Report - Netherlands Begins Formal Withdrawal After Four Years.

Around 1,950 Dutch troops are deployed in Afghanistan, mainly in Uruzgan where opium production is high and the Taliban very active, under the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). The Dutch troops will be replaced by American, Australian, Slovak and Singaporian soldiers. I am surprised to find YouTube video about the Dutch soldiers. It's NOS.

Curried chicken with rice for breakfast. Watch an episode of Kinderen Geen Bezwaar. I haven't seen this show for a long time. It still shows on VARA. I love it! Daan and Gerard are watching The Sopranos together, and they get rather obsessed with it.

When is the sun coming out? Down to library to get Frommer's France 2010. Nice.

Down to Uwajimaya to get some teriyaki chicken and beer. Train back to d'town. Turn on Star Trek: Enterprise. Watch Awakening and Kir'Shara.

Continue with Daedalus - Dr. Emory Erickson comes aboard to supposedly do tests for sub quantum teleportation. He seems to have a different agenda however. His son is a whirling vortex of energy made by a transporter accident.

Also, Observer Effect - Noncorporeal aliens inhabit the bodies of Enterprise crew members to study how the crew reacts to a lethal virus infection that has afflicted Trip and Hoshi. And Babel One - Enterprise agrees to escort Tellarite delegates to peace talks with Andorians. En route they rescue several Andorians who abandoned the ship Kumarr, who insist it was Tellarites who attacked them. When Enterprise is soon attacked by the same ship which now appears to be a Andorian ship, Archer must prove to the warring races that a third party must be setting them up to fail at their attempt at peace. Here, we see the mysterious Romulans involving themselves in the fractious interstellar relations.

Teriyaki chicken and rice for dinner. Watch movie - The Day The Earth Stood Still. I love how Keanu Reeves turns the table on his interrogator.
