maandag 21 maart 2011 Up at 4:27. Ohayo Gozaimasu. Couscous and tofu for breakfast. Shower. Hal Sparks is subbing for Stephanie Miller.
He and many callers talk about our dependence on oil. Hal discusses the Carter Doctrine. Carter deserves A Second Hearing.
Walk up Westlake to work. I see my Congressional Rep. - Jim McDermott - walking down Westlake. 10 to 11:30 - Many breaks: Karen, Kechelle, Erin B., Darnell, Raul and Sabrina. 12 - Kenn's lunch. He's subbing for Charmaine again. I join the 8 Seahorses outside. They are a boisterous group. Lunches are set up already. So, we hang up our coats, wash hands and sit down for lunch. The twins don't eat very much. Some of the kids admire my sushi and seaweed salad. We read some books before we lay down on mats. They like The Way I Feel.
1 - Lynette's lunch. Seven Sea Otters sleep but not Mr. O. Eventually, I take him down to the Bike Room. 2 - Patty's lunch. The 8 Seahorses are sacked out. Kenn is reading a book. Quiet hour. Walk up to Whole Foods to get a few things. Walk around Denny Triangle. Walk down 7th Ave. to d'town. Pick up my Monday Mondo Burrito. Watch KOMO News then Hardball. There's Jim McDermott again... Chris Matthews asks him, "Was Obama Too Hasty in His Decision On Libya?" What a coincidence... Twice in one day.
Tofu and rice rolls for dinner. Watch a couple epeisodes of Futurama - Amazon Women In The Mood and Parasites Lost. The parasites actually are a benefit for Fry drastically improving his intelligence, health and fitness, but he didn't want them.
Switch to Torchwood - Dead Man Walking and A Day In The Death. I even take time for Rachel. Richard Engel talks with Rachel Maddow live from Libya about the patterns in U.S. military activity in the last 30 years and how President Obama's approach to Libya is different from President Bush's military style.
