maandag 11 augustus 2014 Up at 4:58. Rice and egg for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Comedian Rick Overton hangs with the gang. Sen. John McCain being critical. Here's this picture of McCain from last year cuddling up to the ISIS terrorists. He told reporters that they were freedom fighters.
It's 72° and hazy for my walk to work. Up stairs with the Rainforest Kids. We head down the stairs to go outside. This is the friendliest boy on the planet. He always says "hi" to me.
Over to Starfish to give some breaks. It takes a long time to organize the group to go outside. Why do they take their shoes off? I'm extra for the Infant Room. Then over to Sea Otters to give breaks. They're napping. It's lights out and quiet for a while. One-by-one, they wake up. Nice refreshing watermelon and rice chips for snack. Streetcar to Denny. Bus #8 up to B'way. Walk around the neighborhood. Bus #60 to Pike. Walk down to my place. Whew! It's like a furnace. Watch Ronan Farrow Daily. Face to face with Yazidi refugees. Vocativ reporter Lindsey Snell, who was in Erbil late last week, tells us about her experience talking face to face with Yazidi refugees desperate to escape the ISIS militant hold and former Iraq War veterans, Zach Iscol and Rye Barcott, discuss potential outcomes of flooding more U.S. weapons into Iraq.
I think this is a sweet commercial.
