donderdag 8 april 2010

donderdag 8 april 2010 Up with alarm. Solid night's sleep. Rice noodles and chicken for breakfast. Açaí berry tea. Turn on Stephanie Miller. They talk about Sean Hannity's new book - Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama's Radical Agenda.

Sean... fanning the flames of ignorance. Here's the clip from Hannity’s Minnesota stop of his “2010 Conservative Victory Tour”, featuring batsh*t crazies Michelle Bachmann and Sister Sarah.

Palin conjures up the ghost of Ronald Reagan (again!) and Bachmann say’s Obama has ceded sovereignty to a trans-national authority (whatever the hell that means). Oy! Bachmann and Palin, are frighteningly Stepford wife-ish. The glazed over look in their eyes, precisely quaffed hair and spelled-out talking points make me think they have some old Commodore 64 processing units installed. Read a little from my Lonely Planet Guide To Bangkok. Focus on the Sukhumvit area. Shower. Walk up Westlake to work. Oops. I left my radio and camera at home. 10 to 12 - Planning time for Elaine. Jessica covers for Anne. Seven Starfish play on the playground. It's a shame to them them inside on such a beautiful day. Jessica does an art project while I change diapers. It's been a "remarkable" day with this group. At Circletime, they look so engaged with Jessica's choice of stories. 12 to 12:15 - Break for Teresa, then it's my break. There's some buzz in the staff lounge about the candidate for Nancy's job - Pam. 12:30 to 1:30 - Elaines' lunch. The Starfish easily go to sleep. They sleep well, too. 1:30 to 2:30 - Anne's lunch. Since it's quiet, I get a chance to read TYC. Article - Pillow Talk: Fostering the Emotional and Language Needs of Young Learners. 2:30 - Teresa gets a 30-minute lunch. The Dolphins are starting to wake up. Streetcar to d'town. #41 bus tunnel to Uwajimaya. Get some soy sauce chicken and onion tofu. Watch France 24. Report - Obama, Medvedev Sign Historic Nuclear Arms Treaty.

This is just the beginning... A nuclear-free world. Yes, please! Short walk around d'town Seattle to mail my Comcast bill. It's a mixture of sun, clouds and drizzle. Rice and chicken for dinner. Watch movie - Mr. And Mrs. Smith.
