donderdag 15 oktober 2009

donderdag 15 oktober 2009 Up at 6. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Poor girl. She sounds awful. Why is she broadcasting sick like that? She managed to be ok enough to be on The Ed Show the other day.

Goat cheddar and onion omelet for breakfast. Shower. Up to Kaladi for coffee. Take it home to drink. Walk up Westlake to work. 10 to 10:15 - Fold laundry. Darnell is Kitchen Help today. Three breaks - Olivia, Pam and Lydia. Nice fall day. The Seahorses are collecting leaves. 11 to 11:55 - Heather is subbing for Teresa. She gets the first lunch. Dolphins and Sea Otters play in the Bike Room, then we head back for lunchtime at 11:30. 11:55 to 12:50 - Charmaine's lunch. Four Sea Otters eat lunch. Two are already asleep. I do the diapers, and Lydia pats backs. The kids almost put themselves to sleep. 12:50 to 1:45 - Pam's lunch. Five Dolphins sleep. Stella is awake. (She had an hour long nap in the car.) Heather tries to get her to sleep, but she fights it. Ivy and Paxton wake up to the commotion. I manage to get Ivy to back to sleep. Austin pops up. Nap over! I take Stella, Austin and Maya down to the Bike Room. Lots of Seahorses are up early, too. Walk all the way home - listening to The World. Switch to Ron Reagan. He brings up the issue of Death Photos. On Sept. 4, the Associated Press released a photo of a mortally wounded Marine in Afghanistan. The image, which was shot August 14 by AP photographer Julie Jacobson, was released as part of a package of stories and photos about the death of Lance Cpl. Joshua M. Bernard. Do Americans deserve the right to see the reality of war? Should the military ban these photos?

Pasta and Madive chicken for dinner. Watch MSNBC News. The Dempire Strikes Back is good.

Watch Supernatural - Roadkill and Heart.

Dean says, "Follow the creepy brick road." Spaghetti with Tagine chicken for dinner.
