donderdag 1 juli 2010 Up at 2:23. Turn on France 24. Report - Divided Belgium Takes Over Rotating EU Presidency. Here's the common logo of the current EU trio presidency: Spain, Belgium, Hungary. This is the first time a EU presidency trio comes up with a common symbol to put an emphasis on joint work and continuity.

The Belgian presidency's motto is "Europe in action!" Among its priorities are social cohesion, environment and climate, completion of the European Area of Freedom, Security and Justice. Good luck, Belgium. I doze off into a light sleep. Have a couple bizarre dreams which wake me up. Chicken chili on rice for breakfast. Turn on Hal Sparks... streaming his show in his green t-shirt. His voice sounds better.
Hal refers to an article in Think Progress. Right on! Coburn can't get away with this... from the confirmation hearings for candidate for Justice - Elena Kagan.

Report - Klobuchar Hits Coburn For Saying We Had More Freedom When There Were No Women. Video on YouTube.

I hear an interesting quote from an interview with a rep. "Republicans are our adversaries, but the Senate is our enemy." I can't track down that quote... but it's interesting... and relevant. In a review of Keith Olbermann, I find a blogger who goes in detail of the damage of the oil spill. From one one Blogspot to another Blogspot... Kudos! Check out BP Oil Slick.

The comments on this blog are interesting. This one resonates with me - Anonymous said... this is the beginning of the end, and still no one will park there cars or turn off the electricity. we're all just so-o-o-o guilty. The CREEKKEEPER Appears On Olbermann. Good video. Whew! The video makes me feel awful. Need a shower. Streetcar to work. 10 - Breaks for Anne, Pam, Christin and Patty. 11 to 11:45 - Lunch set-up for Starfish and Seahorses. 12 - Renee's lunch. Some Starfish are falling to sleep. Piper struggles against nap time, but she's worn out. When the kids are sleeping, Cristin cleans up the lunch mess. I fold some laundry. 1 - Christin's lunch. First Stella then Piper. We play a lot with the felt board. 2 - Seven Seahorses sleep. Alice is new. She wakes up to the regular noises. She seems happy playing on her nap mat. Alex wakes up and walks over to me. "Alice's pink pig," he says. He admires her pink pig cuddly toy. We read But Not The Hippopotamus.

Walk up to Whole Foods to pick up some Hot Bar and Salad Bar... for the convenience. (I'm cat-sitting this weekend.) Back to my place. Michael drops by... He gives me the keys. I pet Phoenix and Maxine to say hello. Down to my place. Turn on MSNBC. Chipotle Beef with rice for dinner. Play movie - Life Of Brian, but I conk out in the middle of it.

[Brian is writing graffiti on the palace wall. The Centurion catches him in the act]
Centurion: What's this, then? "Romanes eunt domus"? People called Romanes, they go, the house?
Brian: It says, "Romans go home. "

"Romani ite Domum"

Centurion: Understand? Now, write it out a hundred times.
Brian: Yes sir. Thank you, sir. Hail Caesar, sir.
