zaterdag 17 juli 2010 Up at 3:38 but I fall right back to sleep after turning on France 24. Awake again at 6:30. Hash browns and chili for breakfast. Watch France 24 to see Europe Pride is taking place in Warsaw, Poland. Homosexuality is still a social taboo and relatively few people choose to be openly gay. It's a hot Pride... literally. The Polish capital is experiencing sweltering heat, close to 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit).

The police are on high alert because two out of three Poles oppose gay demonstrations. They're expecting violent encounters. Watch some David Letterman. Interviews with Bret Michaels' about his Brain Pain and Kristin Chenoweth. She gets naughty talking about her Coccyx. Kristin Chenoweth Is A Twitterer.
Take the light rail to the Beacon Hill station. I see that the Beacon Hill Playground is under renovation and expanding. Ages ago, I saw the potential of this project. I'm glad that the city is taking the opportunity to develop this area for the kids.
The kids will have a great view of the Seattle skyline.
The scary bridge over Rainier Avenue.
Over to the Mount Baker Neighborhood. Cheasty Boulevard is cool. It is a 1.3-mile-long downhill of weeeeeeee!
Lifeguards keep the beaches of Lake Washington clean.
The skyline of Bellevue, Washington keeps growing.

Train from Mount Baker to University Street. Walk and ride the bike up to my place.
