vrijdag 10 december 2010 Up with alarm. Two solid nights in a row. Turn on NPR News for a change. I like the story of The Island Of Stone Money. Interesting concept.
Scott Fitzpatrick, with stone money

Tofu salad on toast for breakfast. Switch to Stephanie Miller. Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) calls in to talk about the Bush Tax Cut extension. He appeared on Fox News the other day to talk about it, too. Wow, Fox is such a joke. According to them, the rich are persecuted in America. Great job by Congressman Ryan though. Shower. Walk up Westlake to work. 10 - Kitchen duty. Wash dishes. Deliver dishes. The Mountain 103.7 FM is playing in the kitchen. I hear Everybody Wants To Rule The World. 11 - Lunch prep for Starfish and Seahorses. Circle time sounds like fun. 12 - Cristin's lunch. I eat my chicken and couscous with the 5 Starfish. (Every group is low in numbers.) 1 - Toni's lunch. I stay with the Starfish for nap time. 2 - Patty's lunch. It's fairly peaceful with the 5 Seahorses. Streetcar to d'town. #73 bus tunnel to Uwajimaya. Do some Xmas shopping - tea, coffee, cookies and chocolate. Train back to d'town. Turn on KOMO News. The weather is the news... the Pineapple Express is coming.

Play podcast of The World. Today on The World: How today’s Nobel Peace Prize ceremony was NOT seen in China, where the recipient, Liu Xiaobo, is in prison. It's sad to see an empty chair. Liu Xiaobo should be sitting in that chair receiving his honor.

I'm hungry for news this evening. Watch Countdown. Bernie Sanders Stands Strong Against The Tax Compromise. It's a filibuster! (In an empty chamber.) But Bernie is overwhelming in the Twittersphere. I turn to YouTube. Oh! I love what they offer. Nice suggestions, YouTube. "I Am Number Four"

See how Michael Trevino turns into a werewolf on Vampire Dairies. "It hurts! It huuuuuurts!"

Couscous and chicken for dinner. Watch a little of Boys Life 4.
