zondag 5 december 2010 Up at 2:16. Turn on France 24. They do an expose on Christians living in Baghdad and the violence they face. France is helping the victims of a recent Bombing At A Baghdad Cathedral. Catch up with Friday's Rachel Maddow. Rachel elicits the help of her executive producer Bill Wolff in assessing what it'll take to rally Congressional Democrats to stand up to confrontational Republicans. Bill gets fired up with fight songs. He doesn't have any connection with The Ohio State University, but he raves about Script Ohio by the Buckeyes.

Turn on KEXP to hear about the Apollo Alliance. They interview the author of the Death Of The Liberal Class. Also, the author - Chalmers Johnson - talks about his book Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Republic. Check out Amy Goodman's Memorial To Chalmers Johnson. I didn't know that he recently past away. Two fried eggs on toast for breakfast. Shower. I stumble upon Jared Leto's music video - Thirty Seconds To Mars. There's some buzz about this on the net. It's “a surrealistic nightmare dream-fantasy” as Jared himself puts it.

Walk up to Madison and Boren to catch a #60 to Beacon Hill. The bus stops and goes because the driver is ahead of schedule. I visit the Holiday Bizarre at St. George School. It's rather busy and festive with decorations and music, but I meander through the bizarre for just a few minutes. I walk all the way up to the Beacon Hill Station... almost 2 miles.

Train to Uwajimaya. Get some Hakusturu sake and some egg rolls. Nice warm sake. It's still rather chilly. Listen to A Prairie Home Companion. The mayor of New York - Mike Bloomberg - bumps into Lefty and Rusty. Walk around d'town to do some more window shopping. To AMC to watch Skyline.

Strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth. This is Eric Balfour's Best Movie Ever! The best scene is when his character - Jarrod - tries to beat the crap out of an alien with his bare fists.

I call Michael when I get home and tell him about the movie... all the gruesome, horrible, violent, scary details. I need to watch some normal Sci-Fi. Watch Star Trek - Enterprise: Acquisition. Oh, Charles Tucker The Third! "Just because a guy's in his underwear you think the worst."

- Trip, to T'Pol, when he sees she's startled by his lack of clothing

Very funny episode. Chicken, veggies and rice for dinner. Watch movie - Caprica. This is the prequel to the greatest television science fiction saga of this generation - Battlestar Galactica. We come into contact with the pre-genocide human society of the twelve worlds.
