donderdag 6 november 2014 It song is my mantra this morning.
Come on, come on, come on. Manhattan clam chowder for breakfast. Turn on Stephanie Miller. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) calls in to talk about how Congress will change after this week’s elections. GOP Near-Sweep Sinks Medicaid Expansion Hopes... Losers: Hundreds Of Thousands Of Poor People... GOP Controls 2/3 Of State Legislatures... Most Since '20s... The Agenda: Cut Taxes, Gut Regulations, Limit Public Assistance... States With Total Dem Control Now Lowest Since Civil War... Ramifications Could Last For Years...
It's 57° with light rain for my walk to work. I'm mostly with the Starfish since Patty is out today. The rain is gone and the sun is out for our playground time. It's a miracle. It's still pretty windy. Gusts possibly up to 40 - 50 mph. The kids have fun chasing bubbles which whip around this way and that way. Sometimes the bubbles whirl around in a vortex. We luck out again... We get the kids inside before another downpour. Leisurely lunchtime. Read books before nap time. Z Is For Moose makes me laugh out loud.
When these 5 kids go to sleep, I help out in the Infant Room for a while. Streetcar to d'town. It's still pretty windy, but the cloudy are breaking up. At home, I see the view from the KOMO Cam. Pointed towards Alki. Clouds, a hint of blue sky and a sliver of sunshine.
Chicken and potatoes for dinner. With all the politics in the news, I want to watch a movie - political and comical - The Birdcage. Watch out Republicans... The Drag Queens will take over! And then it's Turkish coffee!
