Hikaru Sulu commanding. After three years, I have concluded my first assignment as master of this vessel, cataloguing gaseous planetary anomalies in Beta Quadrant. We're heading home under full impulse power. I'm pleased to report that ship and crew have functioned well.
Then the Klingon moon Praxis explodes and shakes everything up. taH pagh... taHbe' To be or not to be. To sleep, or not to sleep. Play some Star Trek: The Next Generation. The second season. Some of the episodes bore me to sleep. Up at 5:36. Turn on BBC News. Interesting program about Wearable Technologies. (Photo caption: Atau Tanaka performing with his BioMuse system © Atau Tanaka)
Global new year celebrations begin. A giant clock in Auckland's Sky Tower counted down the minutes until midnight (11:00 GMT), when fireworks erupted.
It's 33° for my walk down Union Street. Over to Pike Place. Some people are whooping it up already. WOOOOO!

Happy New Year!

Back to my place. Spicy stir fried red peppers and rice for lunch. Continue watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. Next episode - Manhunt. Ladies and gentlemen! The lovely and talented Lwaxana Troi - daughter of the Fifth House of Betazed, the Holder of the Sacred Chalice of Rixx, and Heir to the Holy Rings of Betazed.
Oh, Jean Luc! What naughty thoughts! But how wonderful you still think of me that way.
Watch old SLN skits. I really like the The Barry Gibb Talk Show.
